FEBRUARY 2026 WRAP UP

I may not have completed as much as I wanted in February BUT I still feel good about February. I completed a lot in January. I almost completed 1 more drama in February but I have about 10 episodes left to watch. I think I will complete quite a bit in March so, I am not worried. The drama I am almost done with is the last one I need to complete that I brought over from 2025 minus the long daily kdrama that I am watching. I am excited to see what I complete and Start in March.

DRAMAS/MOVIES I COMPLETED IN FEBRUARY 2026

I was ALL OVER THE PLACE when it came to what I completed in February. I got the last Jdrama off my watchlist that I had started in December 2025. I went from that to a vertical cdrama that I watched for a podcast episode and then I went over to an American Movie that I watched when I was home with my parents. I WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE! I also will say, I should be farther in some of the dramas I am currently watching but I have basically been binging 1 drama for the last 2 weeks.

Unnatural (Jdrama) (VIKI): I knew I was going to like this jdrama because it is right up my alley BUT I LOVED THIS JDRAMA! I loved the message. I loved the characters even the ones I disliked at the beginning. I had 1 character that I disliked for the first couple of episodes but even he grew on me, and I ended up liking him in the end. The cases were impactful and thought provoking. I LOVED THE FOUND FAMILY and there was a lot of it. I loved that this Jdrama explored found family and gave us multiple examples of it. I literally loved everything and I need a 2nd season! I do wish there was some romance in it. You could see potential, but it never happened.

Embrace Through the Moon (Vertical Cdrama) (YOUTUBE): I watched this drama for a podcast review that I released on the podcast in February. I LOVE the 2 actors who are the main couple. Their chemistry is just so good. Their chemistry is ALWAYS good in the MANY dramas that they have filmed together. The story was actually pretty tame & decent. It was not as over the top as I thought it would be & I wanted crazier. This drama is a little tropey but HEY, that is how most of these vertical cdramas are. Some threads in the plot were not connected by the end because I think time affected what could make it into the drama. These vertical dramas are only 2 hours or so long. The male lead had some red flags but not as many as you would think. It was a slower burn romance which was okay. I would watch this for the main couple.

The Thursday Murder Club (American Movie) (NETFLIX): I watched this movie when I was back home at my parent's house. This was a lot of fun. I loved the ensemble cast and they had great chemistry together. It was fun seeing everyone’s expertise when it was revealed and what they contributed to the club. The mystery was interesting and unpredictable. The movie was a light mystery - think like a Miss Marple story. I would love for Netflix to do more of these.

NEW MARCH 2026 DRAMAS I AM EXCITED FOR

Now, I will say this right now, I have NO IDEA what I will end up watching in March except for the dramas and movies I need to watch for podcast episodes which I will talk about at the end of the blogpost. You will see when I start talking about the dramas that I am interested in, I am on the fence about a lot of them. I also need to make sure I don't click play on a BILLION dramas so, I can still get the dramas I am already watching off my current watchlist. I also have found that RIGHT NOW - I am watching a lot of older dramas and that looks like it might continue to happen.

Siren's Kiss (Kdrama) (AMAZON PRIME) [PREMIERES ON MARCH 2, 2026]

This is the first Kdrama that is on the fence for me. I am not the biggest fan of Park Min Young. So, she is making me hesitate. I am curious how she will do in this role BUT I also have doubts that I will like her in this role. Wi Ha Joon and Kim Jung Hyun being the male leads in this drama are BIGGER draws for me. WE KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE KIM JUNG HYUN! I think I am also hesitant to be excited for this one because it could be really good, but I also could be let down by it. I am going to have to wait and see what people think of it. I know genre wise this is a Kdrama that is right up my alley FOR SURE!

Mad Concrete Dreams (Kdrama) (VIKI) [PREMIERES MARCH 14, 2026]

THE BIG DRAW FOR ME IS THE CAST WITH THIS ONE! I love that Shim Eun Kyung is in this drama! I think she is a very good but underrated Kdrama actress. She has been pretty sporadic with her Kdramas in the past couple of years so, it is nice to see her in a Kdrama again. She also looks like she might be playing a villain in this Kdrama - maybe. The rest of the cast also looks fantastic for this Kdrama. The thing that is putting me on the fence for this Kdrama is that the trailer looks like it had comedy and the genre also on MDL is comedy. I would rather it was not a comedy. I rarely like comedy mixed with my crime Kdramas. Sometimes it works for me but most of the time it does not. I am curious about this one and will probably check it out at least.

Climax (Kdrama) (VIKI) [PREMIERES MARCH 16, 2026]

This is probably MY MOST ANTICIPATED KDRAMA in March. I have HIGH expectations for this Kdrama which scares me. Every time I want a steamy romance, it does not happen. I am a HUGE fan of Ju Ji Hoon so, he is definitely a big reason why I am excited for this. I just want a steamy romance between Ju Ji Hoon and Ha Ji Won. I am looking forward to their chemistry. I think I just need an older adult romance in my life, and I am not watching one right now. It is also an ENA Network Kdrama which we all know if one of my favorite Kdrama networks. This Kdrama might not be for everyone because it is a political thriller just FYI. Not much is given away in the trailers and the synopsis on MDL so, we are sort of going into this blind.

RUMORED CDRAMAS I AM EXCITED FOR THAT MIGHT AIR IN MARCH 2026

THERE ARE SO MANY RUMORED CDRAMAS FOR MARCH!! There is definitely more out there than what is in this blogpost. Now some of the rumored Cdramas that I talked about in the January Wrap Up Post here are now rumored for March 2026. You can go back to that blogpost and read my thoughts on Live Up to Your Youth and Touch. Now, as always, these are mostly just rumors SO, WHO KNOWS IF THEY ARE GOING TO ACTUALLY COME OUT IN MARCH! We will see what Cdramas actually show up in March. I think there are like 17 cdramas rumored for March at this point 😂 Also, reminder, these are just the cdramas that I am personally interested in. I am not about to talk about 17 rumored cdramas. THAT WOULD BE ALOT!

The Way Home (Rumored for March 2)

Now The Way Home would not normally a cdrama that I would gravitate too. People must be asking why I am interested at all with this cdrama because it seems like a slice of life/family cdrama. The cast is what caught my eye. I am currently watching Coroner's Diary, and I like Landy Li from that cdrama but even before watching Coroner's Diary. I also am a fan of Ci Sha. So, them starring in this cdrama together caught my attention.

Pursuit of Jade (Cdrama) (IQIYI/NETFLIX) [PREMIERES MARCH 6, 2026]

I know a TON of people are excited for this Cdrama. I am also excited for it but probably not as much as a lot of other people. There are 2 reasons why I am excited for this drama. I am curious about Zhang Ling He and Tian Xi Wei pairing up. I am excited for their chemistry. It seems like Tian Xi Wei is a strong female lead which I am always a fan of. I also love the director and the screenwriter for this cdrama. The director did Blossom, which I am watching now and loving, and some shorter cdramas that are beautiful. The screenwriter did dramas like Love Like the Galaxy and Coroner's Diary. So, I am excited to see them work on a cdrama together. The trailer also looks GORGEOUS! The one thing that I am hesitating on is some of the trailers I have seen have comedy in them. Not all of the trailers but some of the trailers and I was not expecting comedy in this drama.

Vanished Name (Rumored for Mid-March)

I NEED a good crime cdrama in my life. I have a couple that have already come out in 2026 that I still need to click play on. I have been waiting for this one though. It has been on my radar for a while. I like that there is not much known plot wise with this cdrama. I like that I am sort of going in blind if this actually comes out in March. Ni Ni being in this drama is a HUGE draw for me. I love her and will watch her in anything. I don't know if I have ever seen her in a crime drama before which is exciting. She also doesn't do a lot of cdramas. The supporting cast in this cdrama looks great as well.

Hidden Shadow (Rumored for March)

I JUST NEED THIS CDRAMA ALREADY!! I talked about this one already in my ANTICIPATED CDRAMAS OF 2026 so, I won't go in depth with this cdrama and sort of repeat what I said in that blogpost. I JUST NEED A LI HONG YI DRAMA IN MY LIFE! I SWEAR this man has like a billion cdramas waiting to be released. I just love him as an actor. Yes, I have not watched Treasure of Dawn yet so, if you have seen that cdrama, please let me know what you thought of it. Treasure of Dawn does look like a drama that I would like because I do love a good historical investigation cdrama. The set up for the female lead, Wang Chu Ran's, character also sounds interesting in this drama. Her character having 2 souls living in 1 body sounds interesting. The plot says this is sort of a spy/secret agent story set in historical China. The trailer makes these fight scenes look awesome!

Love Beyond the Grave (Rumored for March)

I talked about this one already in my ANTICIPATED CDRAMAS OF 2026 so, I won't go in depth with this cdrama and sort of repeat what I said in that blogpost. I know this is highly anticipated by a lot of people, me included. I did not watch any dramas from Dilraba or Arthur Chen that came out in 2025 (yet) so, it will be nice to see both of them on my screen in 2026. I love a good Xianxia so, this one is right up my alley. Dilraba's costume in this drama looks beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing everything she wears. I am also just looking forward to her character in this drama. It seems to be a little different from what I have seen her do before. We got another cdrama with a general as the Male lead but this time it is a Xianxia. I am really curious about the chemistry between Dilraba and Arthur Chen.

Southern Anecdote (Rumored for March)

I talked about this one already in my ANTICIPATED CDRAMAS OF 2026 so, I won't go in depth with this cdrama and sort of repeat what I said in that blogpost. It should not be a surprise that I am excited for Southern Anecdote. I have said COUNTLESS times that I am a HUGE fan of the Lost Tomb franchise. Since Southern Anecdote is a part of that franchise, then I am looking forward to this drama. This is another prequel to the Lost Tomb Series just like Mystic Nine is. It is a standalone series but is still related to the Lost Tomb series with references and characters. I just love a good tomb raiding cdrama. You also can't go wrong with Zhang Xin Cheng and Ding Yu Xi looking fantastic in Republican Era clothing. I have been in need of a good Bromance cdrama and this cdrama fits that description.

Zhan Zhao Adventures (Rumored for March)

I talked about this one already in my ANTICIPATED CDRAMAS OF 2026 so, I won't go in depth with this cdrama and sort of repeat what I said in that blogpost. I did not watch Yang Yang's cdrama from 2025 The Immortal Ascension. It is on my list to check out at some point. I saw the trailer for this and it looks AMAZING! I know I didn't have high hopes for this cdrama before the trailer came out but once that trailer dropped, I was more interested. I always like a good wuxia drama. This cdrama has the makings of being a nice wuxia cdrama to check out. I am curious about he cast and how they will work together and what their chemistry is going to be like. I know this story is pretty well known in China so, hopefully it can live up to those expectations.
