This is a first for me. I have such a SMALL watchlist right now. I have made a conscious effort to clear out my current watchlist. So, I have not started a lot of the new dramas that have started over the past month or so except for a couple. I plan to start them before 2024 once my watchlist is clear and then they all end on 2024 so, I will be caught up. I am also watching the least number of dramas I think I have ever watched this year. So, this WATCHLIST blogpost is going to be VERY short. In 2024, it will have a lot of dramas on it again.
Remember if I put ADDICTED next to any drama, that means I AM LOVING THE DRAMA!
KDRAMAS
Night Had Come (*ADDICTED*) - I don't usually watch high school dramas but when you add horror or action elements to the story, I AM THERE! I am surprised Korea has not made a drama like this yet because the game Mafia is so popular. I have watched the first 4 episodes and I am enjoying this a lot. It has a good mix of horror but also mystery. I want to know if there is someone running this game. I want to know who the bad guys are. I am curious how all of it is going to end. I, OF COURSE, can't stand some characters but love others. All of this means I am invested in this drama and can't wait to watch more.
My Man is Cupid - My man Jang Dong Yoon is in this drama SO, I HAD TO CHECK IT OUT! I have watched the first 2 episodes and I am pleasantly surprised. I did not think I would like it as much as I do. I love the chemistry between NaNa and Jang Dong Yoon. It has a nice mix of genres. You have some comedy (that works for me so far), mystery, tragedy and OF COURSE, romance. I am intrigued by the story and can't wait to watch more.
Moon in the Day (*ADDICTED*)Â - This Kdrama ends this week and I am scared. I am LOVING this drama still. I heard that the webtoon ending is a bittersweet ending. I don't want that ending but if done right, I can accept it. I just don't know how this will all end. I love our couple together. I want to see them together at the end but if it follows the webtoon ending, that will not happen.
The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival - I just need to finish this drama already. I have 6 episodes left. I am hoping to finish it in the next week or so. I still have no idea what is going on but since I only have 6 episodes left, I want to finish it. I am still having fun with it because I watch it with no care in the world. I am just along for the ride when I watch it.
That is all that I am currently watching in December 2023. I put a couple of hold until 2024 and will pick them up again in January. I have used November and December to get stuff off my current watchlist. I am determined to not go into 2024 with a BILLION of dramas on my current watchlist and be behind on all of them because life got too busy. I do plan on adding some new dramas to my watchlist next week. Maybe I will add an Anime as well but we will have to see.
