May had one of those holidays in China where ALL THE DRAMAS released posters for their dramas. THERE WAS JUST TOO MANY TO COUNT! This post will be a long one but just know THERE WERE SO MANY POSTERS THAT I LOVED THAT DIDN'T MAKE THIS POST! This would really have been a NEVERENDING blog post if I did. They just seemed to keep coming in May.
MAY 2022 COLLECTION
This drama is airing a few days and I CAN'T WAIT! These posters make me even more excited for this drama. I love how the main characters are in focus or in different colors. It brings attention to them. I also think it might speak towards the plot on how these posters are designed. I hope we get an exciting plot and great chemistry between the cast.
I need Xing Zhao Lin to have a good drama! I want him to branch out and try new dramas and genres. This drama looks like a lot of his other drama BUT it looks like a fun plot. He does well in dramas and I have always been a fan of his. ESPECIALLY after the Eternal Love series. I am excited for another one of his dramas to potentially air soon. THE RAIN OF THIS POSTER IS AWESOME THOUGH! I like when dramas promote their dramas with good looking posters.
I mean do I need to say A LOT about this drama? ALL THE POSTERS AND STILLS FROM THIS DRAMA LOOK AWESOME! I am also EXTEMELY bias because Allen Ren is in this drama. 😂 I am also a fan of Li Qin so this cast is a win for me. I love the costumes of this era that this drama seems to be set. BOTH LEADS LOOK AMAZING IN COSTUMES FROM THIS TIME! I hope we get this drama soon or at least we get more posters and still from it.
There is not much known about this drama. I LOVE CONCEPT POSTERS THOUGH! I mean JUST LOOK AT THIS POSTER! Doesn't it make you want to watch the drama IMMEDIATELY!? I also am looking forward to this drama for the cast. THIS POSTER MAKES ME WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE PLOT THOUGH!
Sometimes posters for dramas can me so creative. I mean the posters and promotional material are supposed to make you want to watch the drama. I love these posters for Heroes. I have no idea what it means to cover them up except for their eyes BUT IT LOOKS COOL! It makes them look bad-ass and ready to fight.
Again, I am not watching Eve and I have no plans too BUT I can appreciate how GREAT these posters are. I love the lighting in all of them. Every poster seems to give some insight in that character. It definitely piques my interest on what these characters will do in Eve. I am still not watching the drama BUT THESE POSTERS ARE BEAUTIFUL!
CAN WE JUST GET THIS DRAMA ALREADY!? I mean really...how many posters and trailers can we get at this point. WE JUST WANT IT TO AIR! I have HIGH expectations for this drama and at this point I don't know if that is a good thing anymore.😂 What if I click play on this drama and I don't like it?
I was a HUGE fan of My Roommate is a Detective so I have been looking forward to Checkmate. I doubt it will air soon BUT I LOVE THIS POSTER! I love the colors. I love the unique poses the characters have. I love the reflection of the buildings. I love how it looks like a painting. I am curious how this drama will compare to My Roommate is a Detective. Right now, I am liking this drama's posters than that drama FOR SURE!
Another drama that I don't know much about. I do love these early posters though. They are always SO CREATIVE! I love when dramas release these drawn posters. I always love the art style they usually take. This one for Forbidden Love is no different. It definitely makes me want to check out this drama when it comes out. It also makes me want to do some research on this drama. I need to find out the plot and the cast.
I LOVE THE COMIC BOOK STYLE OF THIS POSTER!! You definitely get that crime noir feel from this poster. I AM DEFINITELY WATCHING THIS DRAMA WHEN IT AIRS!! Again, another poster where it is so creative. I wish the main posters for these dramas could be this creative. I tend to like the early posters for the dramas more than the main posters that are released later. What about you guys?
