HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! I hope you are enjoying it and have a safe holiday!
Thanksgiving is a time to get together with family and friends. A time for us to appreciate what we have in our lives. Now 2020 has been A YEAR! A year of sorrow and craziness and just A LOT! 2020 being 2020 makes the holiday season more special. So, I just wanted to take a minute and write down what I am thankful for this year because 2020 has been A YEAR! 2020 has made us all more grateful for what we have - more than ever!
-I am thankful for my family. I am thankful that my family is in good health. I am thankful that they are able to be a part of my life. This year has been CRAZY so it has been nice to find some normalcy with them. I am thankful to know that they are and will always be there.
-I am thankful for my friends. I am thankful for friends who are always there to support me. I am thankful for friends who are always there to listen. I am thankful for friends who don't judge me. I am just thankful for my friends especially in these crazy times.
-I am thankful for good health (for the most part). I am thankful for my health. I am thankful for my friends and family's health. I started out 2020 being the sickest I think I have ever been in my life so I am thankful I recovered. I am thankful I have stayed healthy for the rest of the year.
-I am thankful for the memories and special moments. For what 2020 has been, it still has created memories and special moments for me. I am thankful for being able to see my sister's wedding on Zoom. I am thankful for being able to congratulate people on their engagements and new babies and life moments that are special.
-I am thankful for writing. It has been very therapeutic for me this year. I am thankful that I have been able to write about my favorite things. I am thankful that I have been able to explore more of myself through writing. I am thankful for writing adding more routine to my life especially when I was not able to do much this year. I am thankful to be able to explore more dramas and movies in order to write about them. I am thankful for the doors that writing has opened up for me this year.
-I am thankful for twitter and twitter friends. I am thankful for the conversations. I am thankful for the new friends made on twitter. I am thankful for the support when thinking out new crazy ideas for the blogs or drama-watching. I am thankful for having a space and people to talk to about our favorite topics. I am thankful for that outlet.
-I am thankful for dramas. GOD, WITHOUT DRAMAS, this year would have been VERY DIFFERENT! I am thankful for dramas to allow me to escape into their story and characters. I am thankful for dramas to create conversations with other people. I am thankful for dramas bringing good stories and characters to life. I am just thankful that dramas exist in general!
-I am thankful for music. Music has been a constant companion - this year more than ever. It has kept me company while I worked from home. It has kept me company while I made some major life changes and moves myself this year. I am thankful that music has been released this year so we had new songs and albums to listen to and talk about. I am thankful for music.
-I am thankful for distractions. We all know 2020 has been QUITE the year FOR SO MANY REASONS! I am thankful for distractions - whatever those distractions might have been. I am thankful for these distractions to allow me to distress and to allow me to escape for a bit. Many of my distractions have been dramas, writing and music. Conversations, friends and family have also been nice distractions. I am thankful that distractions have been there to help us through this tough, tough year.
-I am thankful for YOU! LAST, but certainly NOT LEAST - I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU! I am thankful that you read this blog. I am thankful that some of you pushed me to start this blog at all this year. I am thankful that you keep coming back and reading things I write. I am grateful to have this platform to write about things I want and to have readers that come and read about these topics.
There you go - just a short, quick post. Just wanted to show my appreciation for you guys and what I am thankful for.
