It is all about the cdramas in August's Poster Collection blogpost. In my opinion, Kdramas need to step up on their posters for their dramas. Most of them all look the same which a few outliers. Cdramas have BEAUTIFUL posters that I notice all the time. 😂 So, Let's check out what beautiful posters cdramaland gave us in August 2023 and that caught my eye enough to be added to this blogpost.
I love how these posters look like comics behind the actors. I am a sucker for this art style. I think it always looks cool and unique on a poster. Every poster is a little different so there are always new things to look at. I am not watching this drama but I love the posters.
I have not watched this drama yet. I love the theme of whales. I don't know if that has any significance to the drama of course. I also love that post posters seem to be projecting onto the actors. It gives the poster a cohesive look but both posters have an individuality about it as well. Blue seems to be a major theme between the 2 posters as well which is my favorite color. I have heard good things about this drama.
Tan Jian CI shared this poster himself of his character in Lost You Forever. Another drama that is on my plan to watch list once Season 2 comes out. With all of the promo and clips I have seen of this drama; Tan Jian Ci's character catches my interest the most. I have no idea who or what his character is. I love the horse's mane in this poster. I love how dark it is. It almost looks like a painting.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS DRAMA! I have no idea what it is about but the 2 posters it has released look beautiful. I am also a big fan of both of the leads in this drama. I love the little prism rainbows this poster has scattered about it. I hope this is a good drama. I can't wait to find out what it is about.
We have been waiting FOREVER for this drama. At least I know I have. Each poster and trailer we see makes me want it sooner. I loved the story of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and now to have that story in Spy era Chinese dramaland - SIGN ME UP! They look good together and in their costumes that we have seen. I hope this one is good as well.
PREMIERE ALREADY!! This drama has been teasing us for weeks that it will premiere any day now. I NEED ANOTHER ADVENTURE - POTENTIAL TOMB RAIDING DRAMA! The two leads in this drama I love and they look great together. I can't wait to watch them fight side by side. This one just needs to start airing already. I love how this poster has something mysterious/mythical happening in it. I love when adventure cdramas has some fantasy in its story.
I cheated a little bit because a lot of these posters were released on like the first couple days of September BUT I HAD TO INCLUDE THEM!! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DRAMA SO FAR IS GORGEOUS! I have loved all the posters and trailers that have been released. So, I, OF COURSE, was going to include this drama and its posters in this month's poster collection. Let's be honest, I will include it again in September. JUST LOOK AT THEM!!
That is the POSTER COLLECTION for August 2023! August had some GREAT posters! Cdramaland really makes some of the best posters for dramas I have seen. My favorites are for the historical and Xianxia genres. Do you think China makes great posters?
