MY WATCHLIST - MARCH 2026

After skipping February's Watchlist, we are back with a Watchlist update for March 2026. I have to admit - I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH MARCH ALREADY!? Well, we know how many dramas I did finish or more like I DID NOT finish in February. That means I have not made much progress on a lot of the dramas that were already on my watchlist. WHAT I DID DO - I added a bunch of new dramas. This was probably not a good idea but at this point right now, I am not caring. I might regret the "not caring" in like a week or month when I am overwhelmed by my current watchlist BUT we will deal with that when we get to it. The other issue I have with my current watchlist is that a new videogame has come out which I am OBSESSED with SO, that is taking my attention away from dramas as well.

Just like January, I am going to talk about Cdramas first because I am watching A LOT and I am not watching much of anything else. I am going to talk about the new cdramas I started as well as the ones that are still on my current watchlist that I need to start getting off my current watchlist. SPOILER ALERT - I have not made much progress because I was bingeing 1 cdrama and for some reason it was taking me FOREVER to complete it. Now that the binge is over, I am going to do a lot more jumping around with dramas. At the end, I will talk about everything else I am watching.

CDRAMAS

Pursuit of Jade - I am like everyone else and their mother and I clicked play on Pursuit of Jade. Now, I did wait for like 20 episodes to be out. I don't know how this happened, but I honestly have not been spoiled on a ton of things except for a few scenes that I had no context for. It had been ALL OVER my social media so, you would think I would have watched the entire drama through social media by now like other dramas. I am very surprised by this. Now, everything I said in the February Wrap-Up is still true. I will watch everything this director does in the future. He makes a BEAUTIFUL drama. If you have not watched some of his other dramas like Provoke, Butterflied Lover or A Familiar Stranger - PLEASE DO! I will also watch more of this screenwriter's work as well in the future. I have only watched the first episode of this drama but MAN I CAN ALREADY TELL why everyone is watching this drama. The lighting is so good. The angles and cinematography are so good. I LOVE Tian Xi Wei's character. Zhang Linghe is pretty of course in the first episode, and I am intrigued by the mystery of his character. I am definitely excited to watch more. I also have to point out gray/white haired character. Why do they always look good no matter if they are the good or bad guy in the drama.

Parallel World - I watched the first episode of this cdrama. It is definitely a cdrama I will probably like. I mean it is an action cdrama where people are out exploring and possibly tomb raiding. I can definitely tell that it will have some fantasy elements because the first episode opens with NiNi looking dead and then she comes back to life. I had to laugh though during the first episode because Bai Yu was wearing prosthetics and makeup to make himself look old. It was not done well 😂 Maybe that was the look the drama was going for. His character clearly does it to himself so, maybe they want it to look like his character did it every day but man it made Bai Yu look weird until he took it off. NiNi's character is a mystery, and I love that because that means we are finding out more about her character as the drama goes on and it is one of the mysteries that are trying to be solved in the drama. Bai Yu and Nini have GREAT chemistry even in the first episode. This drama was also apparently filmed on location - meaning they were filming in the desert.

Blossom - I am watching this slowly but MAN I NEED TO SPEED IT UP! It is crazy that I am watching this cdrama and Pursuit of Jade at the same time because it is done by the same director. I can definitely see similarities between the two dramas with how they are shot and some scenes. GOD! The child actress who plays the female lead can act! I want to see her in more dramas. I said it before and I will say it again, Li Yun Rui with his grey hair is fantastic! It is interesting that the main 2 characters are connected in some way so, I am excited to explore that more and learn how and why they are connected especially since the male lead doesn't remember anything...yet.

Love Between Lines - I am really behind on this cdrama. I have heard very good things about this drama. I have not watched much more than when I first started it. Mostly because I was binging Coroner's Diary, starting a bunch of other dramas and February was not a good month for me and completing dramas. It is an easygoing drama so far which I like. The male lead is definitely a green flag. The chemistry is going well. I am loving the in the VR game scenes because the scenes never go how I am expecting them to go. It just has been a fun watch so far. It is definitely a slow burn, but I am not minding that this time. It is a very pretty drama as well. I also love the OSTS! My opinion may change because I am still quite early.

The Mirage - This cdrama is just SO SURPRISING! Just when I think a plotline will go one direction, it goes in the opposite direction. I am enjoying it quite a bit even though I am still early in it. I just keep getting surprised as the drama goes on. You can definitely tell it has a lower budget especially when you are watching it against other dramas like Pursuit of Jade or Blossom. I am loving the main group of people and their interactions together. The fight scenes keep surprising me with how good they are. Don't watch this for romance because I don't think there will be much. MAKE SURE TO WATCH THE SCENES AFTER THE CREDITS!

The Vendetta of An - I am also quite behind on this cdrama BUT THANKFULLY it doesn't have a lot of episodes. I am still fairly early on in this cdrama so NO SPOILERS PLEASE! I said it once, but I will say it again. I LOVE CHENG YI IN REVENGE DRAMAS! He just acts so well in these roles. This cdrama is definitely fast paced and I am loivng how the story is unraveling. It is tension filled and you question everyone. I am loving the bromance that is coming out of this drama.

The Guilty - I watched the first episode of this crime cdrama. I have heard good things, and I was itching to watch a crime cdrama because I have not watched one in a while. When I saw that Wei Da Xun and Sun Qian were part of the cast, I knew I had to add this to my plan to watchlist and to expect some great acting. The first episode did not disappoint. Wei Da Xun and Sun Qian had 1 scene together and they were on opposites sides of the scene and they had chemistry. I have so many questions already about the plot. You already know that the main trio have a history, and you don't know what happened and why. So, you have that mystery and then you have a kidnapping in the present day which might be caused by this mystery in their past. I love crime plots like this because if done well, the drama will peel back the layers like an onion and reveal secrets slowly and interesting way. I am curious what the title will mean for the plot.

Affinity - I watched the first episode of this drama because I got curious with what everyone was talking about. I also needed something quick to watch over my lunch break. MY GOD WHAT DID I CLICK PLAY ON!? 😂 It literally was a fever dream. I could not look away. I can see why a lot of people were talking about this drama and why there are so many polar opposite reviews of the drama. The first episode was all over the place and nothing was explained but for some reason I was entertained. Was it good? No. You got a very low budget drama with bad acting but somehow you can't stop watching. I think I am just going to enjoy the ride of this cdrama and not think too hard about it. 😂

KDRAMAS

A Graceful Liar - This is still the only Kdrama I am "watching". I am debating if I just drop this Kdrama because I have not been consistent with clicking play on the drama. I will be watching this drama all of 2026 if I keep it up. I have not gotten further in it at all. I have not been good about picking it back up even though I said back in January I needed to do this.

KVARIETY

Culinary Class Wars Season 2 - GOD, I LOVE THIS SHOW! I am trying really hard to not binge it and just make it last forever. I am enjoying this show so much. I am just as attached to these chefs as I was during the first season. I have favorites and if any of them are eliminated, I will cry. The show also already announced a Season 3 with a twist of teams AND I CAN'T WAIT!!

Please Take Care of Your Refrigerator Season 2 - I am continuing watching this show here and there. I just pick up an episode or 2 when I feel like it. I need to watch more episodes on a more consistent basis, but I still like this show a lot.
