I'll be honest - NOT A LOT of posters caught my eye this past month. Now, I might have not seen a lot, but it just seemed slow in February for poster releases. I still collected enough for a monthly poster collection post BUT usually I am cutting posters from what I have picked out because the blog post will be TOO LONG! Not this time, I feel like I either have just enough posters or even slim pickings for posters. Maybe it has a lot to do with what has been going on in the world in the past month. Productions maybe decided to not release stuff and promote their dramas. I am okay with that. There are more important things than making this poster collection blog post for the month. THATS FOR SURE!
FEBRUARY 2022 POSTER COLLECTION
I don't care what people think about this drama. THESE POSTERS ARE A LOT OF FUN! I love dramas where it is a mix of genres, so you never know what you are going to get in the drama. This genre has romance mixed with some crime and murder WHICH IS EXACTLY FOR ME!! The posters and trailers seem very wacky, but I still think these posters look SO FUN! I really want to watch a Making Posters behind the scenes video for this.
I watched a Making Posters behind the scenes video for this drama. The cast looked like they have GREAT chemistry. They were having a lot of fun even just making the posters, so I am even more excited to watch this drama. I love the concept style for the A Superior Day posters. They copied some of the webtoon looks for their posters and got really creative in making them. This is just one example of how the drama copied the webtoon pictures. You can clearly tell they are taking inspiration from the original but putting their own spin on it. The same was done with all this drama's posters.
If it is the job of posters to sell you a drama and make you want to watch it, Royal Feast has done that for me. I haven't even watched Story of Yanxi Palace 😂. These posters look GORGEOUS! I love the costumes. It helps that since this drama title has feast in it, I know there are going to be a lot of food shots. I LOVE DRAMAS CENTERED AROUND FOOD! I have not started this drama so I don't know if it will live up to expectations but at least the posters look enticing - at least to me.
I don't know if I have ANY desire to watch this drama BUT I LOVE THESE POSTERS! I love the umbrellas. I love the flower petals and leaves. I love the lighting in both posters. These posters are doing their job in making me curious about checking out this drama. We will have to see if I have access to it and if I click play on it or not. I LOVE THESE POSTERS THOUGH!! I also think they are quite unique for a modern drama as well.
THERE YOU GO, all the posters that caught my eye this past month. I know there isn't a lot but maybe that means WE WILL BE GETTING A TON IN MARCH! We will just have to wait and see what happens.
