I HAVE NOT DONE ONE OF THESE IN A LONG TIME!! I think I want to try to do one of these if the podcast episode I am putting out the coming week is a review. That way if you really liked the drama or a certain actor/actress caught your eye, you know where to watch them next. It seemed fitting to do this for Marry My Husband because SO MANY PEOPLE WERE WATCHING THIS KDRAMA! I know there is potential that people liked an actor/actress but don't know where to watch them next.
THIS IS THE POINT OF MY HIDE & SEEK SERIES!! I write this series and highlight all the major actors/actresses in a drama. I tell you where I have watched this actor/actress before and also give you some other ideas of good dramas to try out. I try to talk about as many actor/actresses from the drama as possible but if I miss one, you can always message me for suggestions.
I mean it should be no surprise that I am doing a review and hide & seek blogpost on the recently completed Kdrama Marry My Husband. IT WAS SUPER POPULAR! I had a lot of fun with this drama even though it wasn't perfect which I talk about in my review. What is nice about watching dramas is you might start a drama because someone is the lead of a drama but then someone in the supporting cast catches your eye and you want to know more about them. I think this was definitely the case when it comes to marry My Husband. You might have started it for the lead but the villains or a side couple might have brought you joy and want to know more about that actor/actress.
PARK MIN YOUNG as KANG JI WON
Park Min Young has been acting for close to 20 years. She is known as the ROM COM QUEEN! I think everyone knows her from Healer and that is where I watched her first. It is a one of those classic Kdramas. Another role that I think a lot of people know her from is What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. I loved her in Her Private Life. Some of her other memorable roles are When the Weather is Fine, City Hunter and Queen for Seven Days. She has been in a lot of hit Kdramas.
NA IN WOO as YOO JI HYUK
Na In Woo has been acting for about 10 years. The first drama I remember watching him was Mystic Pop Up Bar. He played a wonderful villain in that drama and I just loved how evil he was in that drama. I think this is still one of favorite roles he has ever done. He has been in quite a few daily dramas over the years. He has a support role in Mr. Queen which I know a lot of people loved him in that role. He also stepped in for the lead role in River Runs Through It when the actor playing the lead role had to step down from the drama. He also has been in dramas such as Jinxed at First and the crime drama Longing For You.
LEE KI KYUNG as PARK MIN HWAN
I know I was not the only one but when Lee Ki Kyung was announced for the role of Park Min Hwan, I was skeptical because the only type of roles I had ever seen him do were comedies. I thought he took on this challenge and executed it well. I like when actors take risks. Lee Ki Kyung has also been acting for quite some time. One of my favorite roles I have seen him in was Secret Royal Inspector from 2020. He was hilarious in that. He was great in Partners for Justice (both of those seasons). I have not watched this but I hear he did a great job in Children of Nobody and that was a more serious role. Of course, most people know him from his comedy role in both seasons of Eulachacha Waikiki.
SONG HA YOON as JUNG SU MIN
Song Ha Yoon has been acting for over 20 years. People were surprised with this role for her because usually she is the nice girl in dramas. She has had both support and main roles throughout career. Marry My Husband is one of my favorite roles she has ever done. I hope she gets more opportunities to play a wider variety of roles after this drama. I first saw Song Ha Yoon in God's Quiz Season 4. Many of you probably recognize her from Fight My Way. She has been in dramas such as Devilish Joy and Please Don't Date Him.
LEE GI KWANG as BAEK EUN HO
Lee Gi Kwang is a singer and an actor. he is a member of the Kpop group Highlight. He also has a solo career. He has a beautiful voice and is a great dancer. He has been acting for about 15 years. The first drama I ever watched him in was Circle, a sci-fi thriller drama from 2017. He also has support roles in a variety of dramas such as Mrs. Cop and High Kick Through the Roof.
CHOI GYU RI as YOO HEE YEON
Choi Gyu Ri has only been acting for a couple of years now. Marry My Husband is the first drama I have ever seen her in. I hope she gets more roles after this drama because I thought she did a fantastic job. She had some guest roles in Kdramas like Rookie Cops. her first support roles in the 2022 Kdrama Behind Every Star. She has only been in 5 dramas including Marry My Husband so, I hope she gets more dramas after this drama because I think she shined in this drama.
GONG MIN JUNG as YANG JOO RAN
Gong Min Jung has done a lot of support roles over the years. You might recognize her from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha or Familiar Wife. I first watched her in Sweet Munchies which I ended up dropping. She had support roles in other dramas like Little Women and One Dollar Lawyer. She was also in last year's kdrama My Man is Cupid which was airing while Marry My Husband was airing so, it was interesting watching both the dramas and seeing how different her characters were.
HA DO GWON as LEE SUK JOON
Ha Do Gwon has been in a lot of dramas and a variety of genres. He has had a lot of supporting roles. The first drama I watched him in was The Last Empress where he plays the head of the imperial guard. The Last Empress was a crazy makjang drama. He made a memorable appearance in The Penthouse series with his crazy hair. He plays a great contract killer in A Superior Day. He also played a villain in Tale of Nine Tailed 1938. Seeing him in Marry My Husband, I need him in a romance. He also is known for his role in Hot Stove League. I think he would do great with a quiet romance.
I hope this was helpful for you guys! Hopefully if you have found a new actor/actress that you want to check out in other dramas or movies, you now have PLENTY of options to choose from. I really hope the cast from marry My Husband get more opportunities and we can see more dramas from them in the future.
