I have no idea why I am so interested in this poster of Jung Il Woo's character in Bossam: Steal the Fate. I also have no idea why I am so excited for this drama BUT I AM! 😂 I do like that this poster looks like Jung Il Woo's character is drawn on and not a picture.
I am sure you all know HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THIS DRAMA TO PREMIERE THIS WEEK! The drama released new character posters and here are some of my favorites. I love the colors used in the posters. Cha Ji Yeon's poster makes her look DOWN RIGHT EVIL so I am wondering if it foreshadowing on how her character will be in the drama.
These character posters for the upcoming Korean drama Undercover are so neat! They are simple but I love that they can attach together into a banner. I keep wondering if there is a significance to that. These posters also do their job and make me curious about the drama as well.
I GOTTA ADMIT - this aesthetic in the poster WAS NOTHING LIKE WHAT I WAS EXPECTING! Given the title of this drama and the synopsis, I was expecting DARK and this is NOT DARK! Now it might be a case where the poster doesn't match what the trailer or drama will turn out to be. I just was SO SURPRISED by these first posters that got released.
This drama premieres this month so they released more posters AND I AM SO EXCITED! Did anyone notice the person silhouette at the top of the stairs? Both actors look great from the posters. This poster also already makes me ask questions about what we are getting in the drama so AGAIN that is a good thing when it comes to getting people to watch your drama.
It does not help that I am TRYING TO AVOID this drama until I finish the 2 other cdramas I am watching. What do they do!? They release these posters when they premiere! I love when character posters for Chinese dramas (especially historical dramas) have flowing cloth in the posters. Is this used A LOT in Cdrama posters? YES! Do I love all of the posters because of this? YES! These posters just make me more curious about the characters and I find myself trying to get clues about them by looking at the posters. I especially love the little details on everyone's robes and costumes.
LAST but not least, I could not end this post without posting these posters. I love how the first posters look like they were drawings of the characters. Both leads look amazing and ready for battle. I love that the next 2 posters are SUPER closeups to their faces. I like that the face is sort of distorted and not in focus. I love that the picture IS SO CLOSE to their faces and eyes. It is like you are staring into their souls. The focus is more on the hair in front of their faces. I get a sense of grit and roughness from these posters but also beauty through all that pain.
