I have not done a "MY PLAYLIST" post in a bit. SO, WE ARE BACK THIS MONTH!! I am just going to do a list of some of the recent releases and older songs that I have been listening too. Nothing special but I have been all over the place with my listening these days, I mostly have been listening to playlists and letting them play out. What has everyone else been listening too?
FOREVER 1 - GIRLS GENERATION - SHOUTOUT TO THE QUEENS!! I am so happy they had a comeback and we got an album from them! This new album was so good. It has been so much fun seeing them together again, promoting together. They all look beautiful and I loved the message of Forever 1.
DON'T HESITATE - WONHO - I did not know this was coming out AT ALL but here it is. It sounds like Wonho but also is a new sound for him. I like it. I have not watched the mv yet but I am looking forward to it. I LOVE the instrumental in this song. It is just the type of sound I want for the end of summer. It isn't officially fall yet so I still want songs that sound like this. This type of sound is my summer sound I look out for. I know this sound doesn't screen summer for everyone.
MANGO - SUPER JUNIOR - YOU WANT A SUMMER SONG!? Look no further than Mango by Super Junior. This song is funky! Their vocals sound SO GOOD on this song. The music video is simple but it matches the song perfectly. This song is catchy and addictive. You are listening to it and all of a sudden, you find that you are addicted to it. I love the bridge and the high notes in this song.
RING THE ALARM - KARD - WE FINALLY HAVE A KARD COMEBACK!! After a little hiatus AND they came back with their signature summer sound. WE MISSED THIS SOUND! It was a perfect summer release. I am so happy they returned this sound because they DO IT SO WELL! I am also glad that we are done with military service with this group. I am looking forward to what this group does next. This entire album was great.
LOVEADE - VIVIZ - Honestly, I am surprised I have been listening to this song so much. It is not the usual sound I listen to in summer. I guess it was a good mix and change that I needed for summer because it is in all my playlists. I liked that this was a nice change up from their previous songs too. We love groups that have variety in their discography. If you want a softer but still catchy summer song, check this one out.
BALLROOM EXTRAVAGANZA - DPR IAN - DPR IAN'S ENTIRE ALBUM IS AMAZING!! Do yourself a favor AND GO LISTEN TO THIS NEW ALBUM! I have many songs on this album on frequent rotation so I just picked this song out. He is just so creative with all his songs. They are also so different from one another but also fit perfectly into an album as well. HIS MUSIC VIDEOS ARE INSANE AS WELL!! You guys need to check him out FOR SURE!
LOVE THEORY - TAEYONG, WONSTEIN - This song has quite the hold on me. I know I have mentioned this song in another "MY PLAYLIST" blog post. I have not stopped listening to this song since it came out. This pair put out such an ADDICTIVE song. Their voices pair so well together and it is just a cute song and music video.
PINK VENOM - BLACKPINK - I honestly did not like this song when I first heard it. I especially was thrown off by the chorus. MAN IS IT AN EAR WORM THOUGH! The more I listened to it, the more it grew on me. I LOVED the rap parts in this song. The chorus even grew on me over time. THE GIRLS LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait for the album!
GUERILLA - ATEEZ - The hold that this song has on me! I am listening to it ALL THE TIME! Ateez does not put out a bad song. The music video for this song is also CRAZY! I love the choreo in the music video. I love the structure and experimentation with this song. I love the rap parts. I love the high notes throughout the song. I love the guitar riffs. THERE IS SO MUCH TO LOVE ABOUT THIS SONG!
DOOM DU DOOM - P1HARMONY - If you have not listened to P1Harmony yet at all or you have but haven't heard this title track, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LISTEN TO IT!! I am addicted to it. I love the pre-chorus and how the chorus plays out afterwards. The instrumental in this song is fun as well. I love the guitar. The choreo and concept for this music video is creative and refreshing. I always look forward to what P1Harmony puts out.
