A LOT OF THINGS HAVE HAPPENED IN THE PAST MONTH OR SO!!
First off - THE SAG AFTRA STRIKES ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!! Congrats to everyone - I hope you got the deal you wanted. Now, what does that mean for this blog. THAT MEANS THAT I CAN TALK ABOUT ALL OF THE DRAMAS I PREVIOUSLY COULD NOT TALK ABOUT! Now, I am not a member of Sag-Aftra or anything like that but I just wanted to show my support so, I have not mentioned those streaming services or their dramas since it started. NOW I CAN!
Second, November and December have a TON of dramas coming out that I want to watch and talk about ON ALL STREAMING SITES! There are also dramas from 2023 that I still have not seen that people have been raving about and tell me to watch. Why am I mentioning this? Well, my watchlist is going to look very weird for the next couple of months. I am trying to finish the dramas I am currently watching without adding too many. I don't want to bring a watchlist that is 20 dramas long over to 2024. AT THE SAME TIME - there are a lot of new dramas starting and coming out in the next couple months until the end of the year. It will just be a balancing act at this point. HONESTLY, I encounter this "problem" at the end of every year so it is not new for me.
Remember if I put *ADDICTED* next to any drama, that means I AM LOVING THE DRAMA!
KDRAMAS
Moon in the Day (*ADDICTED*) - I am SO INVESTED in this drama. I honestly did not think I would like it as much as I am liking it. I love that Pyo Ye Jin has this badass job. I love their chemistry together. I love that you have this relationship that is a will they - won't they situation. I don't understand how the two leads were ever a couple because they seemed to HATE each other in the past. I am excited to see how their relationship grows and develops.
Bad Thief, Good Thief - I dropped my daily drama that I was watching because I got bored. So, I picked up the weekender Bad Thief, Good Thief. I have been wanting to watch this drama FOR A LONG TIME! I have only watched the first episode but I like it so far. It is a drama that is right up my alley because it has crime in it but also has romance. I am curious to see where the story goes. I love the cast!
Perfect Marriage Revenge (*ADDICTED*) - THE WAY I RUN FOR THE NEW EPISODES OF THIS DRAMA!! I look forward to this drama EVERY WEEK! This Kdrama reminds me of an older drama (think 2010 - 2025 era) with its tropes and makjang. I am loving every minute of it. I need even more revenge but it is still a very satisfying watch. I know I am invested in a drama when I have theories running through my head as I watch it. If you are looking for a good time, I say try this drama out. PLUS, THE LEAD COUPLE HAS SUCH GOOD CHEMISTRY!
The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival - At this point, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS DRAMA! I am still invested in this drama because I need to know what is happening. IF LEE JOON'S CHARACTER DIES AND IS NOT IN SEASON 2 - I WILL RIOT! I think the reason why I am having so much fun with this drama is that I can't predict what is going to happen. It is IMPOSSIBLE to predict this story. You also think you may have figured something out and then the story takes a hard right and everything is thrown out the window. It ends this coming week and apparently there will be a Season 2 early in 2024 so, we will see what happens.
While You Were Sleeping (rewatch) - I am still doing The Kthree rewatch podcast and our next drama that we are discussing is While You Were Sleeping. SO, I have rewatched the first couple of episodes of this drama. I LOVED this drama when I first watched this and I am having fun watching it again. I forgot how much I LOVE the OSTs and background music of this drama. I remember when I first was watching this drama as it aired, I was listening to the OST ON REPEAT! It is also hilarious watching this drama and seeing actors and actresses pop up in support roles and cameos and now know how far they have come in Kdramaland now that it is 2023.
CDRAMAS
Return the World to You - I have not watched any more episodes of this cdrama. I was trying to finish other dramas and get them off my watchlist. I still am not dropping it because I am still curious to watch more. I hope to watch more in the next month or so. I anticipate that I am going to be bringing this cdrama over to 2024 though which I am ok with.
THAI DRAMAS
To Sir, With Love - This Thai drama is still on the back burner due to me catching up with other dramas or finishing other dramas to get them off my current watchlist. I plan to finish it in the next two weeks or so. I want this off my current watchlist before my December watchlist blog post. THAT IS THE GOAL! I don't want to drop this drama because I have no reason too.
That is what my currently watching list looks like in November. I have FINALLY finished a couple dramas that have been on my current watchlist for a long time. I also dropped a drama that I needed to drop months ago. I added a few new dramas and plan on adding more. I think my current watchlist will continue to grow but I hope to keep it reasonably contained as well ESPECIALLY with all the new dramas coming out before 2024. WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
