I feel like I am doing a horrible job with watching dramas lately. 😂 I have no idea why...Overall I am still watching and enjoying a lot of dramas. Maybe it is because I am really not watching a lot of on-air Kdramas which is not the norm for me. Maybe it is because I keep adding new dramas to my watchlist before I finish the ones, I am already watching because of future podcast episodes I am going to record. Due to upcoming podcast episodes I need to record, I am watching a good variety of dramas from all the countries. I am doing a re-watch as well. I will say, I am having a lot of fun these days watching dramas and being able to talk about them on my blog and in podcast episodes.
I still am in support of the strike that is going on against certain streaming platforms. All of the dramas I am currently watching are not on those struck streaming sites. I have a list a mile long of dramas I need and want to write about eventually when all of this is over. STREAMING SITES - PAY EVERYONE THEIR FAIR SHARE ALREADY!!!
Remember if I put *ADDICTED* next to any drama, that means I AM LOVING THE DRAMA!
KDRAMAS
The Escape of The Seven: War for Survival - I honestly am surprised I am still watching this. I am enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I think I am having fun with it because it is so crazy and makjang. I also like that some of my theories are playing out like I thought they would. I love when my theories turn out to be correct. THIS IS A CRAZY MAKJANG DRAMA THOUGH! If you are into that sort of thing, RECOMMEND THIS ONE SO MUCH! 😂
Happiness (rewatch) - I re-watched Flower of Evil for The Kthree podcast (got listen to those episodes if you have not already. You can watch the podcast episodes on their YouTube channel here.) and now we are re-watching Happiness. We thought it would be the perfect October drama to re-watch. I forgot how much I enjoyed this drama. I remember not liking something on the second half of the drama but so far, I am really enjoying re-watching this drama.
The Witch's Game - I am just going to be watching this drama for the entire year of 2023. I hate certain characters, so, any time they are on my screen I am like OH MY GOD - GET OFF MY SCREEN! I would drop this drama but I am so far into it at this point, I am just going to finish it. This is not a very good daily drama to watch. I would not recommend this one in my opinion.
CDRAMAS
A Familiar Stranger - I definitely started this mini drama because Cheng Lei is the lead and I just finished My Journey to You. I needed to check out another one of his dramas right away. I watched My Journey to You for a future podcast episode so, look forward to that episode to listen too in the future. I have only watched the first 2 episodes of this mini drama but I can see why a lot of people love this little drama. I also love both of the female leads and I know one of them have some other mini dramas that released in 2023 so, I am excited to watch those with her. I also like that the concept and story for this drama is so unique with the face swap thing. Does it really make sense - no! Do I care - no not really. I have only watched 2 episodes so, maybe it will be explained but either way, I am liking this drama a lot
Dear Mr. Hermitage - I am still watching this one but I am debating on dropping it. I am going to give it some more episodes before I decided. It has been put on the back burner due to other dramas so, I don't think I have given it a fair shot yet. I still like what I have watched but I also have not watched a lot more than what I initially watched when I started it.
Forever and Ever - This drama has been put on the backburner a bit due to other dramas needing to be watched and finished. I still have only watched the first 5 episodes but I loved those first 5 episodes so, I am obviously going to continue this drama. I just need to prioritize and finish some of these dramas.
Return the World to You - I may have pulled this drama off my on-hold list but I have not watched more episodes since I did that. I still don't know why I put it on hold but that is because I have not watched more episodes.
THAI DRAMAS
To Sir, With Love - Another drama that sort of is on the back burner currently. I really need to stop adding new dramas and just finish these dramas already. 😂 I still am loving the chemistry of these two leads. I am still loving what I have already watched. I know this drama will put me through the ringer with emotions which is probably another reason why I have not watched anymore because I am avoiding those scenes BUT I do know it does have a happy ending so, that helps a lot.
That is what my currently watching list looks like in October. I know I said in September that October would be a whirlwind of me finishing and starting dramas and that turned out to not be the case. I have finished some dramas so far in October but I also have not started a TON of dramas. I know there are a few Kdramas that have yet to premiere in October that I plan on watching so, we will see if the dramas that have been put on the back burner - are still on the back burner next month. I HOPE I FINISH SOME OF THEM AND GET THEM OFF THIS LIST!
