September was all over the place and dramas. I completed a good number of dramas/movies/anime and other things. I also started some new dramas. I still have a couple of dramas that have been on my current watchlist FOREVER that I still need to get off my current watchlist, but I even got one of those long-standing dramas that I have been "watching" for a while off my current watchlist in September. October is looking to be another busy month of drama watching for me as well. We still got some podcast recordings coming up!

DRAMAS/MOVIES I COMPLETED IN SEPTEMBER
September brought a lot of variety to my current watchlist and what I completed in the last month. Some dramas I watching I absolutely LOVED! Other things I completed, I disliked, and I would not recommend AT ALL! I think what helped with me watching things and getting things off my current watchlist is that I did not have a TON of podcast recordings in September. So, I could pick and choose what I wanted to complete and get off my current watchlist. It is the same situation in October for the most part until we get to the end of October so, we will see what I complete in October and what I end up liking at the end of the month.
Our Dining Table (Jdrama) (YOUTUBE): This is definitely one of my new comfort watches. I clicked play due to the food, but I stayed for the growing relationship. The 2 leads were adorable together. The kid was adorable as well. I loved all the touching moments, and it had GOOD ACTING! It didn't have a ton of angst which is always good for me in a drama. I do wish we got some more information with Yutaka's family or maybe more heartwarming scenes with them once the angst part was resolved. Overall, I loved this Jdrama though.
RATING: 10/10
Our Dining Table Special (Jdrama Special) (YOUTUBE): This was a special episode after the drama ended. Just think of this an a little something extra for the drama. It was a cute, short episode and just the cherry on top for an already wonderful Jdrama. I rated this the same as the Jdrama because I enjoyed it just as much as the Jdrama. I actually wish it was a little longer to see how their life was after like a year or something after the main couple wanted to start dating or whatever, but this episode was still fun.
RATING: 10/10
The Echoes of Survivors: Inside Korea's Tragedies (KDocumentary) (NETFLIX): This is a great documentary. If you liked the other documentary "In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal", you would like this one. It is DEFINITELY heartbreaking. It is really hard to watch just FYI. ALL THE TRIGGER WARNINGS need to be given. I also think the production team did not have to put the survivors in sets that were like what they experienced. I think that unnecessary and possibly harmed the survivors all over again. I downrated for it for that.
RATING: 9/10
Enigma Black Stage (Thai Drama) (NETFLIX): This Thai drama did not disappoint. I think story/lore wise of Season 2 was just as good as Season 1. The acting was great. I didn’t find it as scary as Season 1 which is probably good for people who don't like this genre, but I still thought the drama was spooky. GREAT DRAMAS TO WATCH IN OCTOBER FOR HALLOWEEN! If you have not watched Season 1 and for some reason watched this because it was on Netflix, I would recommend you go and watch Season 1 as well. I do think the chemistry between the leads was better in Season 1, but it was still good here. NEED S3!
RATING: 9/10
Good Boy (Kdrama) (AMAZON PRIME): I liked this more than I thought I would. IT IS HILARIOUS! Park Bo Gum’s acting is brilliant. I LOVED the villain. It could have trimmed some episodes & fluff off. The K Trauma was not resolved how I wanted it to be. People might be mad that it could have a Season 2 if the Kdrama wanted to make one, but it didn’t end on a cliffhanger. I loved the found family. Where has Lee Sang Yi been all my life?!
RATING: 9/10
Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms (CMovie) (AMAZON PRIME): THIS HAS AN AMAZING CAST! It is a great EPIC fantasy Story. I can see why this movie took forever to make. I can’t wait watch the other 2 movies in the trilogy. It has great CGI. I wanted more lore, more gods/magic. It had great fight scenes. I can see why it is getting all the praise though. It was a little slow at parts. The story is a little confusing at times due to what is going on and the number of characters but great start to the trilogy.Â
RATING: 8.5/10
Summer Strike (Kdrama) (VIKI): I would have dropped this if I wasn’t watching this for a podcast episode recording. I knew going in that the slice of life wouldn’t be for me but even the parts I thought I would like, I didn’t. I figured out the mystery very early on so, I got bored. The 2 romances were sweet though. The drama had its moments but overall, this drama wasn’t for me.
RATING: 5/10
Super Cube (Donghua) (IQIYI): This started out great but didn’t end great. It DEFINITELY needs a S2 because nothing was explained & I had a ton of questions unanswered. The story was very confusing & didn’t have direction. I couldn't keep even the leads straight because I was even wondering who the leads were. Who was this story really about? I LOVED THE FIGHT SCENES, they stood out! The fight scenes could not save this though. Everything else was just meh. You can skip this one.
RATING: 5/10

NEW OCTOBER 2025 DRAMAS I AM EXCITED FOR
October is going to look very different for me. This is going to be a shorter section for me because I am not looking forward to a lot of dramas in October. I am not lying this time. I think this is the first time in YEARS where I am not interested in ANY Kdramas premiering in a month. I usually can at least find 1 to look forward too. Not in October 2025, I am looking to other countries for this month and even then, I only have a couple of dramas I am looking forward too. Â I also have VERYÂ different vibes when it comes to the dramas I am looking forward to in October which you will see shortly as you continue to read. It will be interesting to see what I complete in October because I am a fair number of dramas, I need to complete due to podcast recordings but also just the airing dramas I am currently watching which as well all end in October.

Romantic Anonymous (Jdrama) (NETFLIX) [PREMIERES OCTOBER 16, 2025]
This is another Jdrama/Kdrama cross over that we have been getting in the last couple of years. Apparently, it is a remake of a French-Belgium movie by the same name. What drew my attention this Jdrama is that it looks like it will be an older romance which I always like and also the synopsis. Now, I will say this right now, this drama will not be for everyone. Especially for people who might not watch a lot of Jdramas. This will be an awkward romance, at least at the start, because both leads deal with anxiety disorders according to the synopsis. The male lead doesn't like physical touch, and the female lead can't make eye contact. That will probably lead to many awkward situations. Some people did not like Eye Love You because the female lead was so awkward. I imagine if you were in that boat, this will not be the Jdrama for you. Another thing from the synopsis that peaked by interest is that it sounds like there might be multiple couples in this drama which I always like. The two stars of this Jdrama are Oguri Shun and Han Hyo Joo are famous within their own right so, I am curious about their chemistry together and their romance in this Jdrama.

Goddess Bless You from Death (Thai Drama) (Rumor is YOUTUBE) [PREMIERES OCTOBER 31, 2025]
I mean it is October, So, I GOT TO WATCH SOMETHING SCARY RIGHT?! I have seen the cast around, but I don't think I have watched them in any dramas. What caught my interest in this drama was the synopsis, of course. It is about Thup who looks like he can see ghosts, may have heightened senses. Something like that. Then there is Singha who is a detective who teams up with Thup to investigate a series of murders. It looks like another Thai Drama that mixes supernatural elements with a crime drama which I always love this setup so, I am DEFINITELY interested in this setup for a Thai Drama. It looks like it could be a bit scary which I think I need at least 1 scary drama for October.
OLDER DRAMAS I PLAN TO START IN OCTOBER DUE TO PODCAST RECORDINGS OR OTHER THINGS:
Hold My Hand at Twilight (Jdrama)
Whisper of Silent Body (CMovie)
Creation of the Gods II: Demon Force (CMovie)
Mobius (Cdrama)
