It is a little later for me to writing and posting this blog post but I still wanted to do it. I think it is fun to look back at the lists. First, to see if the dramas I said might premiere in the year or half of year actually did and second to see if I actually watched them and liked them. Now, as of right now, all the Kdramas in this list say they are going to premiere before the end of the year. We will have to see if that is ACTUALLY true once 2022 is over with. This list is just a few that I am looking forward too. Some don't even have premiere dates, posters or teasers so I will be posting posters for some BUT NOT ALL! This list is also in no particular order. There isn't a lot on this because I don't know of many dramas set to premiere this year. I am sure there will be more that pop up after I post this blogpost.

MOST ANTICIPATED KDRAMAS FROM THE 2ND HALF OF 2022
PREMIERES: August 24th, 2022
ANY FANS OF BOSSAM: STEAL THE FATE OUT THERE!? I loved this pairing of Jung Il Woo and Kwon Yu Ri in that dramas so I am TOTALLY excited for their pairing again in Good Job. This drama looks like a comedic crime drama which I am fine with. I hope the comedy works for me because I want to see these two together again. It also seems to have a bit of fantasy involved which I am ALWAYS a fan of. DON'T THEY LOOK CUTE IN THIS POSTER!?
PREMIERES: September 16th, 2022
First off, I LOVE THE CAST IN THIS DRAMA! Ok Taec Yeon, Ha Seok Jin and Jung Eun Ji who are part of the main cast and then a wonderful supporting cast including the talented Park Ji Bin. I also have seen the first teaser and this looks like the DARK crime drama that I am missing in my life right now. I am currently not watching any crime dramas which is weird so, I hope this one will fill that gap. The director for this drama also has done a ton of crime dramas that I love so, I am looking forward to what this drama looks like on screen.

I have been looking forward to this drama since I ran across it on MyDramalist. For those who don't know, MyDramalist is a website that is a database of Asian dramas and movies where you can keep track of what you are watching, find new dramas to watch, talk about dramas, make lists and so much more. I highly recommend this website to anyone. ANYWAYS - I can see this drama being a mix of exciting incidents and just the daily lives of the people who work in the police station and fire station. I think this is an interesting premise. It might be a little too mundane for me but I am still going to check it out. I do like the cast though and this seems like a drama that could have a lot of touching stories and a great supporting cast as well.
PREMIERES: September 23rd, 2022
I am a HUGE fan of Mystic Pop-Up Bar so, to have Yook Sung Jae in another fantasy drama is a WIN FOR ME! Having fantasy in a drama at all will get me to at least check out the drama. This also looks like it could be pretty funny which he is also good at. This is another drama where it has a nice cast as well. I am curious to see what actor/actress play what roles. It seems like it could be quite the moving story from the synopsis.

HANDS DOWN - I AM EXCITED FOR THE CAST WITH THIS DRAMA! You have the leads being Lee Hye Ri and Lee Jun Young. I love both of them and they can do serious and comedy well. I think they will make a great couple too. There is not a lot of information about the supporting case with this drama yet. The genre is fantasy for this one as well so, I have to watch this one. It seems to have an interesting sounding synopsis as well. I hope I like this one.

D.O. coming back to drama land - YOU KNOW I HAVE TO BE PRESENT FOR THAT! Bad Prosecutor seems to give him some meat to act AMAZING with this character and synopsis. I also love many actors/actresses in the rest of the cast such as Ha Joon. There have been A LOT of lawyer dramas this year. They just keep coming to but I don't mind.
SUPPOSED TO PREMIERE: October 8th, 2022
I am not quite sure genre wise what this drama is going to be. It looks like it could be a mix of genres. That could be good or bad for me. The draw to this drama for me is the case. I love a lot of the actors/actresses in this case from Kim Hye Soo to Ok Ja Yeon to Chani. I also am curious to see some of these actors/actresses in a historical drama because I have never seen them do a historical drama.
SUPPOSED TO PREMIERE: October 29th, 2022
This drama has been on my radar FOREVER! I think I first heard about it in 2021 and it was rumored to come out earlier this year and never did. I am a SUCKER for fantasy dramas so this is RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! I also love a good revenge story which this seems to have elements of revenge as well. It has an interesting twist in the synopsis that I think will be fun to see play out on screen.

You know, I am really surprised that I am looking forward to historical drama, let alone actually watching more historical dramas recently. I usually don't watch a ton of historical dramas because they tend to be tragic but for some reason this year, I have watched more than my average. That seems to be continuing in the second half of 2022. Another drama where I love the cast. Another drama where I have no seen a lot of these actors/actresses do a historical drama before as far as I remember. This one seems to have a tragic but possibly funny synopsis and I know both leads do this so well. We will see what happens with this one.
SUPPOSED TO PREMIERE: 2022
I AM WAITING FOR THIS PAIRING!! I love Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo. I am curious to see them as a potential couple and how they work together. This is another drama that was pushed back a bit in 2022. I have had my eye on this one for a while. You got time travel. You got murder. You got people racing around trying to prevent some things or save others. I am trying to not have too high of expectations but this sounds like it could be a fun, dark crime thriller and I am here for it!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO COME OUT!! I LOVED season 1 so, I can't wait to revisit the village and the cast of this drama. I know not all of the cast is returning for season 2 but I am looking forward to what happens next to the characters who are returning. We ended on a cliffhanger in Season 1 so I need to know more. This NEEDS to come out this year!

This is another drama that was pushed back this year. I hope it airs this year. The synopsis sounds SO GOOD! I love the cast. I love that it has fantasy involved because I can always use more fantasy dramas in my life. I know it is based off a book and a Chinese drama that will never air. I have read the book and enjoyed it quite a bit. There are some things that have been changed though. It is also a crime drama so I AM HERE FOR THAT! Historical crime dramas are some of my favorite dramas.
