I don't think I talk enough about Thai dramas on this blog. That became VERY apparent to me when I was trying to make this list. Thai dramas were the last country I started watching dramas from so, I am somewhat new to Thai dramas compared to Kdramas or Cdramas. I only started watching Thai dramas in the last 5 years or so. Even then, I have not seen many Thai dramas as all. So, when I was choosing my favorite Thai Dramas of all time that I have seen, I didn't have a lot of dramas to choose from that I have completed. That is why this list may seem a little short just for your information.

As per usual, a few ground rules, these lists will be in no particular order or genre. It is just my favorite dramas from this particular Asian country. I have to had completed the drama for it to be on this list. There are no honorable mentions for this list because I couldn't even come up with 10 Thai dramas. If your favorites are not on my list, doesn't mean I didn't like them, I honestly probably haven't seen them yet. The Last Promise was my first lakorn ever. I am so happy that it was my first lakorn BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD! Now, I will also say because it was my first lakorn, I have not found another lakorn I like as much as this one. I am not saying I haven't watched any other good lakorns, just they have not been as good as this one. I was so invested in The Last Promise when I watched it. I want to say that Until We Meet Again was one of my first BL Thai dramas I ever watched. I know it wasn't the first one I ever watched but it was one of my early ones. I just loved the story. The story is just unique and has a lot of emotion. It is well acted and I love the couples in it. I also got invested in the story for this drama and I definitely have rewatched scenes from this drama multiple times.
This Thai drama surprised me. I am surprised I watched it at all because it does have some horror elements. I am surprised that I liked it so much because of these horror elements as well. This is a fantastic short drama and I am so happy we are getting a season 2. The story is compelling and the leads have great chemistry. I just was so impressed with this drama and how good it was because I went in with no expectations.
I may be very bias with Between Us. This couple was my favorite in the drama "Until We Meet Again" and then I had to wait FOREVER for this drama. It wasn't a perfect drama BUT MAN I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE MY COUPLE AGAIN! The lead couple still had great chemistry. This drama just did not disappoint me and gave me all I wanted with this couple.
I remember smiling a lot while watching this drama. I loved how supportive this couple was for each other and I loved getting their side of the story that wasn't shown in Until We Meet Again.
I liked Manner of Death because it was so different than anything I had seen when it aired. It was a beautifully shot drama. The story was new and refreshing when it aired. The leads, of course, HAD AMAZING CHEMISTRY! They are known for this though. I am a sucker for crime dramas so the fact that this drama had a medical examiner in it was already a plus for me. I remember just looking forward every week to the new episodes especially because I got to this couple be together on screen again for another episode. You can read my review for this drama here.
I am going to sound like I am repeating myself but I was just so impressed by Midnight Museum. Another drama that had a unique story and just was a drama that was so different from anything I had seen before. I loved all of the fantasy elements. I am a HUGE fan of Tor so I might be a little bias because he was a lead in this drama. I really hope we get a second season for this drama eventually because there is a lot of potential here. This drama was just so fun to watch because you didn't know what you would get every week. Here is my full review of the drama.
The one thing that stood out to me right away with this drama was the production value. It looks expensive and it showed. I remember being so impressed when I clicked play. The chemistry between the leads was great and the acting was good. I loved that this was a Thai crime drama which I had not seen a lot of those when I watched this. I still have not watched a lot of crime Thai dramas. This drama was just so full of action and was fast paced which I loved. Here is my full review of this drama.
I am a sucker for a crazy drama. The crazier the drama, the more I tend to like it. That is why a lot of people have always recommended Lakorns to me because Lakorns can get pretty crazy. The Love Proposal is nuts but in a good way. If you like dramas that has everything from cheating to revenge to murder to forbidden love, you will like this drama. It was a crazy ride. It had a gay storyline which led to no love triangle which was a nice twist. The leads had great chemistry and I loved the brothers. Here is my full review of this drama.
Making this list has made me want to go and binge some of the Thai dramas that have been on my PLAN TO WATCHLIST. I just don't watch many Thai dramas and I need to watch more of the. I need to find more time to watch Thai dramas. I have so many on that list I still need to get too. I am sure that is a regular problem for everyone who watches Asian Dramas, of course.
