TOP NON - KOREAN DRAMAS FROM THE FIRST HALF OF 2022

We are officially HALF WAY THROUGH 2022! You know what that means I NEED TO POST SOME OF MY FAVORITE NON - KOREAN DRAMAS OF THE FIRST HALF OF 2022! Unlike, my lists that I do for the entire year (TOP 11 NON-KOREAN DRAMAS OF 2021), there is no total number of dramas I am going to try and get too. I am just going to list some of my favorite dramas. My list will also not have any order. Just because something is higher in my list doesn't mean I liked it more over the other. This is just a list of dramas I liked and would recommend to watch if you have not seen them yet. This list might change by the end of 2022 but it also might not, WE WILL SEE! This list also is the dramas that I completed in the first half of 2022 (January to June) so it does not just mean these dramas had to premiere and air in 2022. It will also not include any dramas I have completed this month (July) because this month is in the 2nd half of 2022. If your favorites aren't on the list, it either means I haven't watched them yet (like MANY 2022 dramas) or they might not have been my favorite. Whatever dramas I watched and were my favorites in the first half of 2022 will be on this list.

OK LET'S GET STARTED!!

HERE ARE MY TOP NON - KOREAN DRAMAS FROM THE FIRST HALF OF 2022!!

Episodes: 13 (iQIYI)

ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS DRAMA! The acting was phenomenal. The story was really unique and just different. It can be a little confusing but I loved all the twists. I love when dramas use their platform to tell important messages. I loved this drama for all the great messages it told the audience. The OSTs are still some of fav from this year. They are quite memorable. If you want to read my full review of this drama, you can read it right here.

Episodes: 12 (iQIYI)

I would recommend you watch Season 1 before Season 2 because you would not understand anything about this season without watching Season 1. Season 1 is not on this list because I watched it in 2021. I actually liked Season 1 more than Season 2 but Season 2 was still entertaining. THE ACTING WAS PHENOMENAL! If you like crime dramas, I recommend both seasons of this drama. It had some great twists. We know FOUND FAMILY is my JAM so, this drama delivers that. I love the OSTs from this drama. You can read more about this drama in detail in my review here.

Episodes: 1 (VIKI)

I finally got around to watching this in the first half of 2022. I knew I would like it but MAN I LOVED IT MORE THAN I EXPECTED! The leads had GREAT chemistry. THE ACTING WAS INCREDIBLE! I loved that the story was realistic and it spanned practically the entire lifetime of the leads. I think it was a BEAUTIFUL portrayal of the ups and downs of a relationship. I think it was so relatable to a lot of different people, no matter the gender or what kind of relationship you are in. You just relate to it with life.

Episodes: 8 (NETFLIX)

This drama was MADE FOR ME! *Trigger warning for cheating, Domestic violence & intimate scenes* I love crazy dramas so you have cheating, I will probably check it out because I need drama in my life. As most Japanese dramas, this drama is so much more than just the synopsis. It impressed and blew me away with how deep this drama was. It was BEAUTIFULLY written. You just need to check this Japanese drama out. Here is my review for it.

Episodes: 15 (VIKI)

If you like WILD RIDES and just a drama where you have no idea where it will go, WATCH RESET! I was on the edge of my seat for this entire drama. It is a nail biter from start to finish. The OSTs are wonderful. I will say I liked the ending but I also found it a little unsatisfying. Would I still recommend this drama? TOTALLY!!! You will start this drama and finish it in a short period of time because you will not want to put it down. You can read my full review of it here.

Episodes: 8 (NETFLIX)

Another Japanese drama that is just SO MUCH more than just its synopsis and title. This drama has so much social commentary. I LOVE IT! I love dramas that use their platform to discuss topics that need to be talked about and have light shown on these issues. I think this drama has such a unique style of talking about these social topics as well. It was heartwarming. It was well-acted. This is a different drama and is just so unique. If you want to read more about my thoughts and opinions of this drama, here is my full review.
